Carved Timber and Copper Sculptures:

This series of sculptures, titled "Eve 1 Maiden, 2 Mother, and 3 Sage," was created as an abstract representation of the feminine form.

Eve, derived from the Latin name Eva, means "to breathe" and "to live." Eve 1 Maiden marks the beginning, characterised by its simple and pure form.

Eve 2 Mother represents the middle stage of life, featuring a more complex form, full of life and creative energy.

Eve 3 Sage, the most free-flowing of the trio, symbolizes the beauty of maturity and wisdom.

These sculptures integrate my two favourite mediums, timber and copper, with copper leaf applied delicately to avoid overshadowing the natural beauty of the timber's flowing grain.

Welcome to a unique collection of my bespoke sculptures, where art and craftsmanship unite through the meticulous shaping of carbon steel, copper, and timber. Each piece in this collection is hand-forged in the West of Ireland, created using traditional methods of metal forming, heating, and welding to bring out bold, abstract forms.
